SARAGAIL BENJAMIN
Founder, Facilitator, THE MUSIC OF BUSINESS

Performer, writer, teacher, and composer Saragail Benjamin has been helping people forge collaborative relationships and build creative muscle for twenty-five years. As an Artist in Residence for Lincoln Center Institute, the Westchester Council on the Arts, and as an independent contractor she has designed and led experiential learning residencies in music, writing, and theater. She has written, performed in, produced, directed, and music-directed hundreds of theatrical productions. In all venues, with diverse populations and age groups, Saragail has facilitated transformational teamwork as a means to helping people access their own and their collective creativity and productivity. She has also worked extensively as a jazz pianist and singer, and is a published children's author, songwriter, and musical theater writer. With humor and patience, Saragail creates environments where it is not only safe to learn, experiment, and grow, it is practically impossible not to. Her spontaneity and showmanship, her boundless energy and passionate commitment to getting the message across, combined with her experience as an educator, make her a welcome addition to the world of organizational training.

TRAINING:
Saragail has studied teambuilding at the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, was a long-term member of the BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop, and studied composition with Norman Gold.
